The meeting starts on Wednesday, May 18th 2:00PM; with an ending on Friday, May 20th 12:30PM. It will be followed on friday afternoon by a meeting of the NewCompstar WG2 focussed on "Microphysics inputs for neutron-star global models".

Although there are plenty of hotels in Paris, we recommend that you reserve as soon as possible since May is already tourist season. The most convenient to reach Meudon is to take a hotel in the Montparnasse area, close to the Montparnasse train station. There are also many restaurants in that area. Below you can find a small - not exhaustive- list of hotels having prices per night for a single room between 90 and 110 Euros.

Access using the Montparnasse train station

  • From the Montparnasse station in Paris, take the slow train in the direction of Sèvres Rive Gauche (less frequently in the direction of Versailles-Chantiers, Rambouillet, Chartres, etc)
  • Third stop: Meudon (after Vanves-Malakoff and Clamart). Leave the station by turning right, and after about 200 meters turn right again, then go straight up the hill.
